What are the benefits of choosing a fully serviced apartment for my stay in The Hague or Rotterdam as an expat?

As an expat you don’t have to be worried or stressed about anything since we offer fully serviced apartments for all-in rent. Everything is arranged upon arrival for example; internet and television and gas, water and electricity is up and running. The rent is including a parking spot, local taxes and maintenance. As an international traveler, you want a place which feels like come home to when you are away from home. It is quite difficult to move to a new country and have to figure out from abroad or directly upon arrival. You do not want to be bothered with choosing internet or arranging utilities. Especially if you don’t speak the language and don’t have an idea where to start. That’s why we take everything off your hands, so you can fully focus on your work and take your time to settle. Expansion in Rotterdam and The Hague and towards new cities!

Because things are going so well, we grew by a whopping 24 homes last year. In Rotterdam, we decorated 13 new properties with our familiar Hello Housing look-and-feel and were able to rent them all out immediately. In The Hague, we successfully managed to kit out 11 homes. We are therefore thrilled to announce that we will be expanding to other cities. Where exactly is still a surprise, but yet again they promise to be top locations! Demand for our properties continues to rise. Despite this, we always try to ensure availability for our business relations. You may already be aware of what we offer, but there’s no harm in stating it again: At Hello Housing, we offer all-inclusive housing rates with all necessary services, which makes our concept unique. With us, you rent for a fixed amount and never face unexpected surprises. Moreover, you get a full designer interior ensuring everyone immediately feels at home and welcome. Currently, the housing market in the Netherlands is under pre...

Housing & Healthcare Information Market

Expats know where to find the Netherlands (again)

Last summer, we witnessed a huge spike in expats looking for suitable housing. Summer is the perfect time for expats to move to another country. For example because of children who can then make a fresh start with the new school year. But last summer, the amount of new expats that arrived was even more extreme than usual. It seems like everyone is ready for a change after the pandemic. In recent years, we have formed new collaborations with a number of companies. Our customers value consistency and, especially during these busy times, great collaborations are essential. In order to find suitable housing for the expats these companies employ, as well as for all the other requests we receive, we have had to expand considerably: so far this year, we have added 14 additional properties in Rotterdam and 8 in The Hague to our portfolio. And we aren’t finished yet. In total, we expect to add another 5 new homes to our portfolio this year, and we expect this growth to continue next year. Bu...

And even more new apartments in Rotterdam

We are not the only ones who have discovered Rotterdam. We notice that the apartments we offer are also well received. First in Little C at the Coolhaven, followed by the Wilhelminakade and the Terraced Tower. All apartments were rented out in no time. Now we have another gem on offer. In De Zalmhaven we have several newly furnished apartments available immediately. With its 200 meters, this building is literally the highest point in the city. Prices are as always all-in and the apartments are trendy and furnished with a complete inventory. De Zalmhaven is in a prime location close to the city center, so you can optimally experience and enjoy Rotterdam. Then you’ll be sold, just like us, and you’ll understand why we’ve taken Rotterdam to our hearts, as well as The Hague.   Original post here: And even more new apartments in Rotterdam

From Being An Expat To Arriving Back At Home

Image
When you initially become an expat, in most cases you move with a company that provides you with a house, transport, perhaps a furniture or removal allowance and they help you to settle into your new environment. When you return back home, some expats are lucky enough to perhaps move with the same company or have bought a house during their time away and can settle in quite quickly and comfortably. Even if you do have the advantages, there are always challenges that you are going to have to deal with. These Top Eleven tips should help you along your path home. 1. Who is picking you up from the airport? We arrived back at home with six huge suitcases, a box, 4 hand luggage cases and 5 laptops. We needed help, a taxi was not going to get us from A to B, two would be needed. We would need to hire a small passenger bus, the local train service would see us trying to pull a truck load behind us and was undoable. We arrived back on 4 January, family and most friends were still on holiday. We...
